Ganymede Visualizer Overview
Ganymede Visualizer Plugin FAQ
An aesthetic visualizer means that the visualization created from your audio only bears a loose relationship to your actual audio. It is not intended for precise monitoring, mixing, or mastering purposes.
Additionally, adjusting any of the configuration parameters within the Ganymede Visualizer will not affect your audio in any way. Your audio will pass through the visualizer plugin unaltered, regardless of how you've configured the visual.
The Ganymede Visualizer Plugin was built with screen recording in mind, and does not have a native video capture, recording, or export option. If you wish to record the plugin's visual output into a video file, you must do so via a screen recording program, such as OBS Studio or Quicktime Player.
After purchase, you will be automatically directed to the "My Plugins" section of your account in order to download the installer for your operating system. Once downloaded, run the installer file. By default, all the compatible plugin formats will be installed, but you can choose to exclude any of them if you don't require a particular variety.
It is not a requirement that you close your DAW before installing, so if you installed with your DAW open, either close and re-open the DAW, or rescan your plugins using your DAWs functionality (consult your DAWs manual for how to do this).
If you installed the Ganymede Visualizer Plugin with your DAW closed, ensure that your DAW is correctly configured to look in the right file folders.
If you are looking for the VST3 version of the plugin, also ensure that your VST3 folder is enabled.
Any DAW can be used that supports one of the following plugin formats: AU, VST3, AAX, CLAP. If you DAW supports one of these formats, the Ganymede Visualizer Plugin will work with it.
No. The plugin can only be used within compatible DAW Host software. It is not a standalone application.
Yes. Your Tuneform account is where you will access the plugin installers and other resources related to your plugin license purchase, such as obtaining your license key and managing your activations.
If you don't have a Tuneform Account prior to purchasing the plugin, you will be prompted to create one before completing the purchase.
There is a dedicated form in the "My Plugins" page where you can contact Tunform directly about the plugin.
We also have a dedicated support site with answers to common questions and issues at https://support.tuneform.com . However, if you can't find a solution there, you can contact Tuneform directly through our support portal: https://tuneform.com/support .
Updates are automatically provided for you in the "My Plugins" section of your account. If a newer version is available, you will see a message and can choose to download & install the latest version to your machine.
You can use the Ganymede Visualizer Plugin on up to two machines simultaneously per license. If two machines are already licensed, and you activate it on a new machine, the license will be deactivated automatically on one of the other two machines (the machine that was activated least recently).
First, login to your Tuneform account, open the "My Account" button in the Tuneform toolbar, then click "My Media." Then find and click the button/option that reads "My Plugins."
There are several ways to open the configuration window. By default, a button reading "Customize" will appear in the top right corner when you hover over the main plugin window with your mouse. You can also disable this button from appearing by checking the "Show Options On Hover" button. If you do this, you can still open the configuration window by double clicking the main plugin window, or pressing the 'o' key with the plugin window in focus.
Most plugin formats will allow you to resize the window by simply dragging the edges of the plugin window. However, certain formats/DAWs don't allow for this. In this case, a drag icon will appear in the bottom right corner of the plugin window, which you can drag to resize the plugin. This icon will appear when you hover over the plugin. You can also deactivate this option temporarily in the plugin's configuration.
