If your music is on Spotify and you have a Spotify for Artists account, you will be able to upload Spotify Canvas Videos.

What are the dimensions of the Spotify Canvas Videos created with Tuneform?

All canvas videos you create with Tuneform are 1080 x 1920 (1080p) mp4 vertical video files, with a frame rate of 30 frames per second.

Are Spotify Canvas Videos Audio Reactive?

Canvas videos are not audio reactive as they can only be between 3-8 seconds long. Because the video will loop while your track is playing on Spotify, it's impractical to attempt to sync the video to your music.

Where do I upload my Spotify Canvas Videos?

To get your videos to start displaying on Spotify, you need to upload them through the Spotify for Artists website (artists.spotify.com) or the Spotify for Artists mobile app.

How often can I update my Canvas Videos on Spotify?

You can change your Canvas as often as you'd like. This is different from the artwork you uploaded when you distributed your music to Spotify, as that cannot be changed.

How long does it take to create a Spotify Canvas Video with Tuneform?

When you use Tuneform, it generally takes 30-60 seconds to create your Canvas Video.

Can I use Spotify Canvas Videos elsewhere?

Certainly! All the videos you create are yours, so feel free to use them anywhere else you'd like.

What does "Deterministic" mean in the Canvas Video Specs?

A Deterministic Spotify Canvas Video will give you the exact same video if you use the exact same image inputs.
If a video is not deterministic, using the same inputs will give you a unique video every time you render. This means one or more effect used in the video has some element of randomness.

Can I create Spotify Canvas Videos for Free with Tuneform?

Yes! When you sign up for an account, you will be able to create up to 5 Spotify Canvas Videos for free.

Are Spotify Canvas Videos watermarked?

No! We don't watermark any Spotify Canvas Videos you make, even if you're making them for free.

What kind of images can I use to create Canvas Videos?

You can use either PNG (.png) or JPEG (.jpg or .jpeg) images as inputs when creating your videos. However, we highly recommend using PNG images whenever possible.
